New Team Member

DEG is proud to announce the addition of Gabi Young to our litigation graphics team! Award winning Certified Medical Illustrator, Gabi is a Graphic Designer at DEG specializing in 2D and 3D illustrations and presentation design for a variety of litigation communication needs. In 2013, Gabi received a Citation of Merit for Graphics Media: Medical Illustration BioImages Awards. Gabi has over four years’ experience in the illustration and design of medical and biological subjects. She has extensive experience with 2D programs including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as well as 3D programs such as Autodesk 3ds Max. Prior to joining DEG, Gabi was graphic designer at a national litigation consulting firm for over three years. Before that, Gabi was a Medical Illustrator Intern at The Journal of the American Medical Association and published several illustrations in the journal. Gabi received a B.S. in Neuroscience with a minor in Arts from the College of William and Mary and a M.S. degree in Biomedical Visualization from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Gabi was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and is fluent in English, Brazilian Portuguese, and Spanish.
